Manager, Strategic Consulting

Position Summary

Two Labs Strategic Consulting is a specialized management consultancy focused exclusively in biopharma and medical technology space with verticals focused on Corporate Development, Commercial Strategy, Medical Affairs and Clinical Development. We have recently been acquired by Envision Pharma Group.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact (as directed by the Project Lead) for all client facing responsibilities
  • Capable of operating with minimal guidance / supervision from Project Lead to ensure effective project delivery within agreed upon timelines
  • Develop world class deliverables in a variety of different formats (i.e., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SmartSheet, PowerBI) that require little to no modification from Project Lead before being “client ready”
    • Understand client needs and collaborate with the project team to plan client engagements, including development of project timelines
    • Develop and execute primary / secondary research strategies
    • Conduct research and succinctly communicate findings
    • Develop strategic frameworks and recommendations to address strategic client challenges
    • Consistently meet or exceed all agreed upon timelines, milestones and deadlines
    • Perform project management responsibilities, including client engagement and communication of project status
    • Communicate appropriately with Project Lead to keep him/her/they informed and engaged
    • Identify and collaborate with the project team to resolve issues or challenges as they arise within client engagements
    • Effectively communicate with internal team and external client (in written and verbal manner)
  • Demonstrate ability to manage a diverse range of consulting projects (e.g. operational improvement to product-specific strategies)
  • Manage a book of business in the range of $1.0 – $1.25M annually (i.e., oversees 1 – 1.5 junior team members)
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively manage / coach / mentor / develop junior team members assigned to project tasks (i.e., Junior Analysts, Analysts, Consultants and Senior Consultants)
  • Identify new business development opportunities (most likely follow-on sales, or expansion within existing clients) and support closure of new business valued between $250 – $500K annually
  • Support additional revenue generation activities (i.e., develop proposals, participate in pitch presentations, draft SOWs, develop project case studies at the end of each engagement) at the direction of the Project Lead and ensure Proposal Library is kept up-to-date
  • Embrace and cultivate positive team dynamics and continue the development of the overall culture in alignment with the Two Labs vision and mission

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of consulting experience, OR an MBA with previous biopharma work experience in one of the verticals noted above (not consulting)
  • Relevant functional experience in delivering and managing projects in one or more of CEEK’s service offering areas:
    • Commercial Strategy
    • Medical Affairs
    • Corporate Development
    • Clinical Development
